PyWebKitGtk 1.1 is out!.
The API is based on WebKitGtk 1.1 which was released six days ago. So whatever feature they have for that release is supported in this release.
Shaping Future Releases
If you’re a pywebkitgtk user, I would love to hear what sort of APIs you need for you to be able to get your stuff done, or how pywebkitgtk can help your future projects and how it *should* fit in your own ecosystem.
I’m also working (albeit slowly) to improve our test coverage and will be looking at API documentation to be included in future releases. I believe all these things are important but I need more time – and of course, your help!
Going Forward
I’ve also been thinking lately how to improve the bindings. I will definitely look at gobject-introspection,pybank and Seed and see how we all fit in the same ecosystem. I will post an entry on this once I the plan is concrete and some code running.
